Heart Offerings
Many people come in for a session with physical pain, a chronic condition, anxiety, fatigue, depression and high levels of stress. Most leave with less pain, less overwhelmed, a sense of relief, relaxed, feeling calmer and at peace. Some notice improved sleep, better digestion and more energy. Many experience an overall lightness of being – as if a heavy weight has been lifted off of them. Each individual, each situation is unique.
While holding the specific area of focus that brings a client in, I also make a deeper inquiry to the innate intelligence, the Inner Wisdom, present in every body. This is done through conversation, touch, pulse taking, and grounding practices. The interface with that source of wisdom allows the treatment plan to unfold for each session. My work is to listen with neutrality and curiosity and heart, creating a safe space that is conducive for trust and healing.
There are many modalities that may be called upon during a session.

Acupuncture –
Acupuncture is more than just needles. The meridians of the body are pathways of energy flow that can be treated with needles, tools, sound, touch, off the body scanning, breathwork and more. There are many schools and styles of Acupuncture. I practice a gentle style of needling, and use the UMAC (Unwinding Meridians: Applying Acupuncture Principles to CranioSacral Therapy) approach, which follows the craniosacral rhythm to interface with the body’s Inner Wisdom to inform the session. Cupping and Gua sha are additional traditional techniques for moving stuck energy (Qi stagnation).

CranioSacral Therapy –
This is a gentle non-invasive manual treatment approach that works with the natural self-correcting mechanisms of the body. The craniosacral system (CSS) consists of the membranes and fluids that surround the brain and spinal cord. It has the ability to influence every system in the body, such as musculoskeletal, neurological, immune, digestive, endocrine, etc. Palpation of the CSS allows detection and release of core issues so that the treatment focuses on the cause of dysfunction rather than just the symptoms. The goal is to restore and optimize the functional operation of the body.

Sound Healing –
The vibrations of sound can activate movement, release, and flow in an area and/or throughout the body. Sound waves travel through fluid like ripples in water. Since our bodies are mainly fluid, our cells are fluid-filled, using specific frequencies in targeted areas brings benefit to physically or energetically constricted regions. I am trained in the Acutonics system of Sound Healing. I use tuning forks, Tibetan bowls, bells, rattles and clicking sticks.

Energy Clearing –
This modality, as a stand-alone technique or incorporated into a session, is a gentle way to release old stress and energetic blockages that may show up as fatigue, feeling stuck or repetitive patterns that hold one back. A clearing works on two levels – to release energy taken on from other people, and then to bring balance back to one’s own personal energy.

Qi Gong and other Taoist practices –
Using Qi Gong grounding techniques and sound, Earth Qi, Heavenly Qi, Primordial Qi and Flood Like Qi are directed to different areas of the body. This supports the movement of the whole system towards optimal health, well-being and consciousness.

Unwinding –
This is often a slow meditative movement of fascia, organs, meridians, or structures. It can have a deep relaxation affect on the entire nervous system as held tension releases.

Guided Meditation –
This guided practice helps to ground and release tensions held in the body and mind. Following cues that I sense from the body and the energy field informs how the meditation unfolds. Settle in for a relaxing calming journey, while reconnecting to a greater sense of peace.
Wendy brings a wealth of techniques to her healing practice providing a safe, nurturing, professional space.
Whether it is physical, emotional or spiritual pain I am feeling, Wendy tunes in to what my body and soul are asking for. Her energy fills the space with a soothing light and goes to work.
Wendy is a gift to those lucky enough to have found her. I am so very grateful to be one of them.
When I tell people about you and suggest they see you, I tell them that you meet clients where they are and then you accompany them on their path towards healing – the going with them on the journey is an important a part of authentically being with them as the meeting them where they are.
And I mean that not only from the assurance that they won’t find themselves alone in the room with a bunch of needles in them and a cord to pull if they get uncomfortable, to the deeper that you spend the entire session working on their behalf, sensing, responding, adjusting. It’s a great gift to have company at this level.
She is so intuitive. She is able to treat the “whole” of me. Mind and body.
I have been seeing Wendy for over 10yrs. I trust her completely. I consider her a part of my Medical Team.
As soon as I walk into the room…I feel warm, cared for and relaxed.
When I think of Wendy, my heart softens and fills. She is such a gifted healer…intuitive, gentle, communicative — my sessions with her have been powerfully therapeutic. Wendy’s work is subtle and calming, yet robust in clearing blockages and elevating energy. She takes her time to assess, feel (she’s an amazing empath) and to follow up post treatment, which is above and beyond and so appreciated.Wendy has been gifted with being an intuitive empath and as such, provides focused, creative and sensitive attention to her healing treatments. She follows her instincts as to what her client needs on any given appointment rather than offer a prescribed course of action. Her knowledge and training in the healing arts allow her to effectively utilize any number of healing modalities to support her clients. She is compassionate, understanding and creates a safe place for her clients to let go…and let Spirit do its work. Wendy is that conduit to Spirit and her work is transforming. Whether she provides acupuncture, attunement, sound or craniosacral therapy (among other techniques), I highly recommend her for what’s ailing you physically, psychologically and/or emotionally. She is indeed a gift.
Wendy is unlike any other body worker I have worked with and- I have had many. Her care for people and her knowledge match. This is not easy to find. She will look at a client from the perspective of the whole body, not just the painful or ailing area. I always recommend Wendy to friends. She is a gem!
Wendy is skilled in all the healing modalities she practices. The atmosphere is pristine and full of comfort and kindness. Wendy has helped me center and recharge many times. She is a great healer for me because I totally trust her and I can completely relax in her presence. She welcomes all feedback to enhance the treatments. I am blessed that Wendy has shared her healing gifts and techniques with me for many years now. She has been and is an essential part of my life.
Wendy provides open hearted attention to detail including an adjustable heated and padded table, precise diagnosis of pulses, emotional, mental and physical status, and varied gentle treatment methods. I often fall asleep midway through the treatment and leave feeling refreshed, calmed and energized. Whatever issue I came in with usually has been gently shifted or alleviated.
An appointment with Wendy is as good as a mini vacation. I always feel a shift after a visit with her. Wendy creates a wonderful and calm
environment in her space. Of course she knows just what I need after a brief check in. I know the acupuncture is working on a level even if I don’t fully understand it all. I do feel every bit of the cupping and gua sha but my absolute favorite treatment is Acutonics with her tuning forks or better yet her brass bowls. I can just feel my energy moving through Sound Healing. I initially saw Wendy for treatment to help with menopause but continued for a variety of aches, pains and general well being.
Wendy is an incredibly talented and compassionate acupuncturist. I go to Wendy when I am struggling emotionally, experiencing physical discomfort, or in need of a reset. Wendy’s practice is dynamic and attentive, and I always leave feeling supported, grounded, and refreshed. Wendy has played a large role in my healing, and I cannot recommend her enough.
Wendy is highly intuitive. Her skilled, gentle and effective treatments are extremely restorative and healing. After just the first session, I immediately added Wendy to my regular health care preventative practice, as well as whenever anything (anything!) needs additional intervention, both physically and mentally. She is a gifted practitioner and a lovely human being!
Wendy Mintiero has been my “go-to” acupuncturist for pain management for the past 16 years. I’ve been blessed to have been able to see Wendy for acupuncture for so long but went two years without seeing her when Covid shut down much of the city. After getting a Covid infection in January of 2022 and subsequently diagnosed with PASC (Post-Acute Sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 Infection or “Long-Covid”), I began weekly treatments with Wendy again. I was miserable when I started treatment for PASC but in a very short period of time, my headaches diminished, brain fog disappeared, health anxiety reduced, sleep improved, fatigue decreased, energy picked up, and pain has become more manageable.
I highly recommend Wendy to anyone and everyone who is thinking about trying Acupuncture for pain, or any number of medical conditions from anxiety, allergies, to Covid recovery.
Wendy takes utmost care to prepare the treatment room to be a welcoming haven for each client as they enter the room. The treatment table is adjustable, sturdy, and very comfortable which makes it easy to relax and put your mind at ease. She has a table warmer, if you feel cold, and will adjust room temperature to your comfort level. Wendy takes utmost care to follow Covid protocols; always wearing a mask, cleaning after each client, and putting clean linens on the treatment table.
Wendy’s personalized approach to each individual client is a catalyst to creating an in-depth healing experience. She welcomes you, as you are, into a space of healing. She is a great listener and tuned in to how you are feeling and what you are experiencing.
Acupuncture is still a mystery to me as my body and mind continue to respond very well to the treatments. While my appointments with Wendy have primarily been for Fibromyalgia and other pain management, she has successfully treated me for PTSD, car accident and other injuries, inflammation, as well as pre- and post-surgery.
There’s so many wonderful things I can say. You’re intuitive and support your client’s health holistically. I always leave our sessions feeling healthier, stronger, and overall more integrated in how I show up in this world.
I would refer someone to see Wendy because she is an intuitive healer with a broad range of skills. She is often able to name the emotional or physical issues I have been vaguely experiencing and to apply her healing modalities to address them. She has helped me through some tough times and I’m so grateful to receive her gifts!
I have had Wendy do energy clearings for me during some pretty tough moments in my life. What I’ve come to appreciate is not only is Wendy profound at trusting her intuition and being able to speak to what she’s seeing and feeling while doing her energy clearings, but she’s so gentle and kind with her delivery of what may need to be said. This helps me drop right in with her. And several times she will see some thing that is exactly what may have happened to me a day before, hours before or things I’ve been thinking about. I feel safely seen. As a healthcare practitioner who works with the systemic subconscious parts that are hidden deep within us I know how very important it is to feel safe. She doesn’t put a Band-Aid on what’s happening but she’s not harsh and forceful with what she says. More so she’s inviting for me to be with her and know that no matter what she saying or feeling it’s just her interpretation of what’s happening in the energy field of me. This makes me feel safe safe referring clients to her.
Wendy listens deeply to what my needs are at every session, and always seems to know what is most useful for me at the time.
I really appreciate that Wendy has a wide variety of tools that she utilizes; whether it’s acupuncture, cupping or sound, or a combination of different tools, she brings a deep level of caring and expertise.
It’s clear that Wendy cares deeply about her work and her patients. I always feel seen, heard, and cared for on many levels.
Wendy has been an integral part of my healing journey. I have been seeing her for acupuncture the past couple of years. Wendy’s calm loving presence and mini meditations prior to acupuncture puts me at ease and in a place where my body is ready to receive and heal. It is obvious that Wendy continues to hone her skills through further education, keeping her up to date on all things acupuncture and healing. She has a ton of tools and knowledge that she uses to help in your healing journey. From singing bowls, to meditations, to grounding techniques, to energy work, to essential oils, to healing rubs and of course acupuncture, no one session is the same. Wendy is incredibly intuitive and sensitive, helping her to know exactly what needs to be done in each session. I can’t recommend Wendy enough.
I’m grateful for the work you’ve done with me to help me heal and continue to heal. I can’t imagine this year without you.
Thank you!
I think of you as a healer, someone who treats the whole person in addition to specific areas of focus.
I always leave our sessions feeling lighter, restored…
I love that you bring a variety of modalities to our sessions.
You have a lovely aura about you that creates a safe, welcoming environment that feels conducive to healing.
